Tatsuo Yoshida, who was a founder and a president of “Tatsunoko Production”, is the respectable in the world originator of animation , “ S pace Ace ” , “ Mach GoGoGo(Speed Racer), “The Genie Family”, “The New Adventure of Hutch, The Honeybee”, “Gatchaman”, “Casshan”, etc. He left high-quality works in various genres from action to comedy. Recently, many producers try to create a live-action fi lm. Three works of his and “Tatsunoko Production's” masterpieces are to be screened in this festival.

Three genies living in an old jar, only appear when someone nearby happens to sneeze, hiccup or yawn. Although they are devoted to their new masters, their attempts to help always come out badly. This series is fi lled with fantasy, action and excitement.

Notes Gallactor, a cruel criminal organization headed by a space alien, tries to invade and conquer Earth, But Dr. Nambu enlists fi ve brave youngsters into a team called Gatchaman to fi ght against them. Gatchaman is a series focusing on the team's battles that features dynamic action and excitement.

The Yatterman duo and an evil trio led by the beautiful Florina engage in a struggle to obtain the Skull Stone-which is said to reveal the location of a gold mine. The trio seems to constantly have the upper hand, but are
always foiled by Yatterman, who are able to stop their evil schemes. This is the second entry in the Time-Bokan series.

Plofile Born in 1932, Kyoto. Kenji Yoshida is his 2nd brother and his manager, Ippei Kuri(Toyoharu Yoshida) is his 3rd brother and a cartoonist. He made his debut as a cartoonist in 1950'S by “TETSUWANRIKIYA” originated by Ikki Kajiwara. With the slogan “Dream to children all over the world”, he established “Tatsunoko Production” in 1962. In the beginning “Space Ace” telecasted in 1965, he in succession created hit works, “Mach GoGoGo(Speed Racer)”, “The Genie Family”, “The New Adventure of Hutch, The Honeybee”, “Gatchaman”, “Casshan”, “Time-Bokan”. He passed away in 1977 when he was 45 years old. He is a person who has rendered many services to Japanese animation industry, by bringing up a lot of young staffs, the description with realism of character in detail.
