Yoshimoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. is here to organize a new type of a movie/video festival where people from around the world will be able to communicate through movie/video under the concept of “Laugh & Peace.” And particularly, since Yoshimoto Kogyo is the organizing body of this international movie festival, the "Laugh & Peace" Competition Category and the Short Movie Commercial Category will pursue comedy that is universally shared across the world.

We have chosen Okinawa, the home of entertainment, as the venue for this special movie festival.

We hope to enjoy the excitement of movies with the locals by creating a “new movie festival” that will be treasured by movie-makers and media people around the world; and at the same time enhance the content industry and stimulate the local economy.
