NOTES

CROWSⅡ

CROWS, the 42-million bestselling mega-hit comic book series by Hiroshi Takahashi (“Weekly Shonen Champion”, Akita Publishing Co.) about gang turf wars at Suzuran Boys High School, grew its fan base in 2007 with the phenomenal success of the major motion picture, CROWS: Episode 0. Popular demand for more has resulted in a sequel serving as the conclusive second act to the first film, pitting returning principles, Shun Oguri, Kyosuke Yabe and Takayuki Yamada, against newcomers, Nobuaki Kaneko and Haruma Miura, as members of a menacing rival school called the Hosen Academy. The culminating battle scene promises to break all new ground in terms of scale and impact for the youth hood genre under the remarkable stewardship of world-recognized director, Takashi Miike. The legend ends here.
