In 1979 in Kita Kyushu, a new female teacher Mikako is appointed as advisor of a weak volleyball team at a junior high school. She is forced to make a promise with poorly-motivated members of the team that she will show her boobs if they win a game. Despite the bewilderment of Teacher Mikako, the team members practice hard just because they want to see her boobs, and they grow stronger. What is the fate of Teacher Mikako in a fine fix!? The original book is a youthful novel by Munenori Mizuno, who is also active as a screenwriter. When the novel was released, it had major repercussions among readers for its moving story which we cannot expect from the impact of the title, and film adaptation was much awaited. The blossom of youth driven by the amusing motive makes us smile, cry, and warms our heart. It is an impressive youthful entertainment that stays the same in all ages!
